Hi, I’m Leah.

I believe therapy is a place where you can show up as your whole self. You don’t need the right words, a clear plan, or everything figured out before you begin. My role is to meet you where you are, get curious alongside you, and create a soft place to land.

I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals and couples through the transitions of building and caring for a family. Whether you’re considering foster care or adoption, preparing to welcome a child, already deep in the process, or a caregiver who’s spent so long holding everything together that you’ve lost track of yourself. These seasons often bring stress, uncertainty, grief, relationship changes, and parts of ourselves we didn’t expect to meet. I love helping people slow down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and find a way forward that feels more intentional and connected.

I believe family can look many ways, the one you were born into, the one you’ve built, or the people you’ve chosen along the way. My work is grounded in a relational and systemic perspective, meaning we look not only at what’s happening within you, but also at the relationships, systems, and experiences that have shaped you. I welcome the many identities, stories, and life experiences you bring.

I earned my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse University in May 2026 and am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFT-A). I am Gottman Level 1 trained and have completed basic EMDR training as well as Mental Health First Aid.

Most importantly, I genuinely love this work. I feel honored to sit with people in the messy, uncertain, and meaningful parts of life, especially as they navigate what it means to grow a family and care for the people they love.

Meet Leah, LMFT-A
